The Fayetteville Fire Department , in partnership with Safe Kids North Carolina, will host a free Car Seat Safety Check Event on Thursday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to noon at Target, located at 2056 Skibo Road.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on-site to inspect car seats, check installations and provide hands-on education to help parents and caregivers ensure children are riding safely.

A limited number of free car seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. To receive a free car seat, the child must be present at the event.

Our annual board meeting will be held at Station 2 on Clinton Road Thursday June 25th at 7pm. This year there are three positions available with previous members rotating off. If interested in getting on the ballot there are two requirements:

- You must live in the fire district.
- You must send/drop off a letter addressed to Chief Bradshaw 14 days prior to the June 25th election stating your interest in being put on the ballot. (Due Date of Letter: June 11th)

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call the station during normal business hours!

Great day of training today. Crews were able to work on many skills, share knowledge and fellowship together. Thank you to everyone from our department, Stedman Volunteer Fire Department, Eastover Volunteer Fire Dept and FTCC Fire, Rescue and Swift Water Training for showing up to assist and train with us.
