๐ง ๐ June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month ๐๐ง
Mental health affects everyone, yet many men continue to struggle in silence.
Too often, men are taught to "be strong," "push through it," or keep their emotions to themselves. As a result, feelings of stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, and overwhelm frequently go unspoken and untreated.
The reality is that mental health challenges do not discriminate and seeking support is one of the strongest things a person can do.
This Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, we're encouraging men to prioritize their well-being and recognize that asking for help is not a sign of weakness. It's a sign of courage, self-awareness, and commitment to living a healthier life.
Some signs that it may be time to seek support include:
๐น Feeling overwhelmed or constantly stressed
๐น Changes in sleep patterns
๐น Increased irritability or frustration
๐น Difficulty concentrating
๐น Loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed
๐น Feelings of anxiety, sadness, or hopelessness
๐น Withdrawing from friends and family
Therapy can help individuals develop healthy coping strategies, improve relationships, manage stress, process difficult emotions, and build resilience through life's challenges.
