We were honored to take part in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb this morning at Razorback Stadium, hosted by the UA Army and Air Force ROTC programs.

Alongside other NWA agencies, we climbed 110 flights in honor of the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

We are proud to recognize Tracy Rieff, Community Paramedic with Central EMS, for achieving 40 consecutive years of National Registry Certification!

This distinction, held by few EMS professionals, reflects Tracy’s longstanding commitment to continuing education and providing exceptional prehospital care to the communities we serve.
Tracy became Nationally Registered as an EMT-Intermediate in 1986 and has served the citizens of Washington County ever since.

Before that, he spent two years as an Arkansas State Certified EMR and EMT with a local volunteer service. He also dedicated 36 years to the Farmington Volunteer Fire Department before retiring from the department earlier this year.

Maintaining National EMS Certification for four decades requires ongoing education and successful completion of the National Registry’s recertification requirements every two years.

Please join us in congratulating Tracy on this outstanding achievement and thanking him for his many years of dedication to EMS and our community!
