🚧 Big changes are happening in the children’s area! 🚧

The children’s department will be closed Wednesday, May 27th through Saturday, May 30th as we get brand new carpet installed just in time for our Summer Reading kickoff! 🎉

We know this is the first week of summer break, and many of our families were looking forward to visiting the children's area. We understand that this may be disappointing, and we truly appreciate your patience while we make improvements to create an even better space for everyone.

We’re so excited for our young readers to return to a fresh, cozy children’s area just in time for a summer full of stories, adventures, and discovery! 💛

The rest of the library will remain open, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the children's area at our Summer Reading Kickoff at 3:00 PM on Monday, June 1st!

Join us as we partner with Glynn Street Credit Services for a program all about understanding credit—what it is, how it works, and how to build good habits from the very beginning. One of the best ways to have good credit is to understand it before you need it. No guessing, no stress, and hopefully no learning lessons the hard way.

Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions as they are a continuation.

The library will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day as we honor and remember those who served and sacrificed for our country.

We will reopen with regular hours at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, May 26th.
