MISSION, GOALS, OBJECTIVES, PROGRAMS
Mission: The mission of the RCOSE is to provide innovative approaches, strategies, a
nd resources that support individuals, families and the community to achieve successful interdependent and independent living. Objective: Provide collaboration and outreach intended to improve the education and lives of our children and youth. Accomplish through Programs such as:
• Advocacy-Workshops/Trainings/Outreach to parents, providers, teachers, organizations, businesses
• Back Pack/Back to School Program-free backpack with school supplies distributed to children.
• Future Techs-Youth who are interested in STEM or technology programs may participate. Youth who have been diagnosed or going through the process to be diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum will be served first. Several groups of 6-10 may be formed. Goal 2: Individuals, families and the community have access to health and nutrition. Objective: Provide health and safety alternative resources for those in need. Accomplish through Programs such as:
• Beatitude Bags distributed to the homeless and those in need. Bags include essentials for daily living.
• Fight Hunger In NC-Food Bank/Hunger Program (Fundraising, work with organizing site, distribution, and referrals)
Goal 3: Individuals and families have access to resources to become more self-assured and sufficient. Objective: Provide resources to meet the needs of struggling individuals
and families. Accomplish through Programs such as:
• Advocacy and coordination with local organizations
Live Coaching- Through both one-on-one and group sessions, clients are coached on topics such as time, nutrition and stress management as well as performing a strengths assessment for continual growth.
