Summer celebrations are right around the corner, and the City of Fayetteville Fire Department encourages everyone to celebrate safely.

πŸŽ† Leave fireworks to the professionals.
✨ Keep sparklers away from children's clothing and always provide close adult supervision.

Sparklers can burn at temperatures exceeding 1,200Β°F and can quickly ignite clothing or cause serious burns.

Let's work together to keep our families, neighbors, and community safe while enjoying all that summer has to offer.

πŸš’ Have a safe and happy June!

Safety Stand Down 2026 is here! πŸš’πŸ’ͺ

This year’s theme is Firefighter FITNESS: Fit to Serve, Fit for Life, focusing on the importance of keeping our responders healthy, safe, and ready to serve our community.

Throughout the week of June 14–20, fire and emergency services personnel across the country will focus on key areas of firefighter fitness, including functional fitness, nutrition, sleep, evaluation, and long-term strategies for success.

A strong firefighter is not just fit for the job today, but prepared for a healthier future tomorrow.

Strong today. Stronger tomorrow.
Fit to serve. Fit for life.
