We are dedicated to the academic growth of our students as they prepare for college and life after graduation. We attempt to inspire them to reach their potential as students and citizens. FHS has established a tradition of academic rigor that ensures excellence. Learning is at the heart of all we do and we try to encourage each of our students to become an independent and confident learner. From the classroom to the athletics field, our students are immersed in an educational environment.

Through a year-long commitment to energy-saving practices and smart energy management, these schools reduced energy waste, engaged students and staff, and earned funding that will support future improvements and learning opportunities.

Fayetteville Public Utilities is proud to partner with TVA EnergyRight to help invest in our local schools and community. We can't wait to see the impact these grants will have on students and staff for years to come.

After walking the halls of their former elementary and middle schools earlier this week, our graduates visited the site where the new FEMA Safe Room will be constructed on the FHS campus. The class gathered for a photo holding a banner signed by classmates, along with a box of items collected by students to be placed in a time capsule at the new facility. It was a meaningful way to reflect on where they started, where they are now, and what’s ahead for future Tigers.
