At approximately 10:39 a.m. today, the Fayetteville Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at a two-story apartment building located in the 2100 block of East Oaks Drive.
Upon arrival, crews found the building actively on fire and quickly worked to bring the incident under control. Firefighters successfully extinguished the fire and prevented further spread.
Three adults and three minors were transported from the scene with injuries. One additional adult was evaluated and treated at the scene but declined transportation to a medical facility. There were no burn injuries reported, and no firefighters were injured during the response.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
