I was driving down Ardennes this afternoon and saw one of the Infantry Squad Vehicles (ISV) parked in front of the 2/508 (2 Fury) BN Hq.
The ISV is a Chevy Colorado with no skin and tricked out by Polaris right here in NC.
This seems to have to some degree, replaced the Leather Personnel Carriers (LPC) that were our primary mode of travel, besides the Hercules  and the Starlifter. Time and technology marches on. Pun intended. 😁

Today we attended the celebration of life for our Brother in Army Lejuan "Bear" Jones. He was one of the founding members of the All American Platoon in 1981 as a member of 1/C/2-508th PIR, 82 Abn Div at Ft Bragg, NC.

It is with a very heavy heart I report the passing of my Airborne Brother Lejuan Bear Jones.
Details are about his passing are few at the moment and plans for his memorial have not yet started.
He was a Brother like no other and I loved him as if we were blood.
We shared many of life’s most formative moments as young men: joining the Army, becoming Paratroopers, deploying to combat and traveling the world with the All American Platoon 1/C/2-508th PIR, 82d Abn Div
I have so many wonderful memories.
