Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to share what is going on in September with Fayetteville & Cumberland Parks & Rec. They have some very cool programs coming up. These activities include the return of our cooking class, ARTS, Karate, Yoga and Bowling. The bowling program has been moved to B&B Lanes on Fort Brag Road but will take place on the same day and time.

They also have the return of the Touch-A-Truck event on September 16th from 10am-12:30pm. This year it will be located in the parking lot behind Kiwanis Recreation Center.

Friday, September 8th the Special Olympics Of Cumberland County will be the “Field of Dreams” guests of honor for the night at Segra stadium. The game starts at 7 and athletes who will be running out onto the field will need to arrive 20 minutes early. There are a limited number free tickets available for athletes that wish to attend. These will be assigned on a first come first served basis. To sign up please call or email them with the athletes name and a good contact number.
