My Tennessee Handgun Permit classes will teach you in 8 hours what you need to know to safely, effectively, and legally carry your handgun for the protection of yourself and your loved ones. Even if you never intend to carry a handgun or obtain a permit you will still benefit by learning how to safely and effectively handle a handgun. The Handgun Safety Course is divided into two 4 hour blocks. The class begins with learning the two basic types of handguns, revolvers and semiautomatics. You will learn the nomenclature of each type of handgun and how each functions, how to load and unload them, their strengths and weaknesses. After the familiarization of the types of handguns we will move to the safety aspects of handling a handgun. In the same block of instruction you will learn how to clean your firearm efficiently and safely. Proper storage will also be covered. The next block of instruction will be the legal aspects of carrying your firearm with your Tennessee Handgun Permit. You will learn the most recent laws concerning permit holders and your responsibilities as a Tennessee Handgun Permit holder. You will also learn where you can and cannot legally carry your firearm. Your next four hour block will consist of range familiarization and range commands. You will learn the different types of holsters and carrying methods. You will also learn the proper grip and stance for shooting your handgun and the basic marksmanship principles. After learning the basic marksmanship principles and putting them into practice, we will proceed with live fire. You will fire from the three, seven, and fifteen yard lines. You must score a 70% on the range, if you don't do so on your first attempt, you will allowed to requaiilify again. After the range qualification, we will take the written portion of the test. Today we remember Sergeant Michael C. Roy. Born in Manchester, NH, Roy enlisted in the Marine Corps two weeks after 9/11. He began his career as a rifleman and later became a security guard with Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team Company and Antiterrorism Battalion, 2nd Marine Division. Roy joined MARSOC in March 2008. He deployed in support of both Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He was remembered for his steadfast commitment toward life, family and the Marine Corps. While on a mounted combat reconnaissance patrol acting as turret gunner in his vehicle in Khash, Nimroz Province, Afghanistan, with 3rd MSOB, Roy’s convoy came under rocket propelled gr***de and small arms fire from insurgents and he was mortally wounded. Roy was awarded a bronze star with a combat “V” posthumously. U.S. Marine Corps Marine Corps Recruiting United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Marine Raiders

Oil and gas are financing Putin's military expansion and, thanks to their 'deal with the devils' (Putin and environmental extremists), is plunging Europe into an energy crisis. The one thing "president" Biden could do to cut Putin off at the knees and help our allies is to unchain American gas and oil production. Reopen ANWAR, fast track XL pipeline completion, open up drilling on federal lands and cut regulatory red tape. We have the resources and the Frackin' technology to WIN the energy war. No begging OPEC, no hasty bad deals with Iran, just unleash America's energy might!

On a side note: That would also go a long way towards reducing inflation. It's time to do what's best for America and the world rather than continue the global warming, climate change hysteria. World War III and economic collapse are much more immediate threats that climate change.
