The following are examples that the county considers to be unacceptable social media content and comments. Please note this list is not intended to be all-inclusive:

· Spam or videos or links to other sites;

· Solicitations, advertisements, or endorsement of any financial, commercial, political candidate, political party, or non-governmental agency;

· Duplicate posts by the same author (the original post will be left intact assuming it meets the guidelines of acceptable comments or content).

· Repetitive posts copied and pasted by multiple users;

· Obscene materials;

· Advocation of illegal activity;

· Infringement on copyrights or trademarks.

We are so excited to welcome Soleil Dekker to our team! Soleil is joining us from Hope Mills, NC, as a Cumberland County Ignite summer intern. Soleil recently graduated from UNC Pembroke with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. This summer, she’s looking forward to sharing her incredible passion for painting, charcoal drawing, and digital art with our 4-H youth!

Ever wonder how honey looks before it is harvested? Come watch as an experienced beekeeper extracts honey from the honeycomb and places it into jars. Each participant receives a jar of honey at the end of the workshop.

Join the Cumberland County Cooperative Staff on July 14 at 12:00noon or 6:00 pm to learn all about the process of moving honey from honeycomb to honey in the jar. Registration and registration fee of $20 are due by July 10. Class size is very limited so register early.
