First Due Fire with Entrapment🔥

At 08:20hrs Company 7 along with mutual aid were alerted to Black Gap Road in Greene Twp for a mobile home fire. Deputy 7 arrived on scene finding a mobile home with smoke showing from a modified single wide mobile home. AC 7-1 and the crew of E7-2 quickly began fire attack and search operations. One occupant was located inside the structure and removed by firefighters before being turned over to EMS.

The fire was brought under control, with crews remaining on scene for extensive overhaul and to ensure the fire was fully extinguished. The assignment was eventually scaled back to Companies 7, 13, and Sta 4 for overhaul and continued operations.

1 Extricated on LWE 🚨

At 2pm Company 7 units were alerted for a vehicle accident in the 8100blk of LWE with reported 1 subject pinned. A/C7-1 arrived confirming dispatch. Rescue 7 and Engine 7-2 removed the drivers side doors and B post to extricate the patient who was then transported by WellSpan WellFlight to an area trauma center.

Just after 1pm this afternoon Company 7 was alerted to the 1400blk of Walker Road in Greene Twp for a vehicle accident with possible entrapment. Rescue 7 arrived finding a vehicle rolled over with the single occupant self extricated with the assistance of the property owner. The Rescue crew provided BLS care until the arrival of MICU 23 who then transported the patient to an area hospital for treatment.

House Fire 🔥

On Tuesday Sept 1st Engine 7-2 responded to Lindsay Lot Road Box 15-3 for an appliance fire. Chief 15 arrived to find fire showing. Engine 7-2 arrived and supplied E15-2 as well assisted with overhaul.

Working Fire and Box Alarm 🔥

Around 1030 last night Rescue 7 responded to Slabtown Road in Quincy Twp Box 5-02 for a house fire. The Rescue crew completed searches and overhaul. (Pic by a Co5 member)

Then at 0400 this morning Engine 7-2 responded to Greene Twp Box 44-03 for smoke inside a residence. First arriving units found a burnt up hot water heater. Engine 7-2 was placed in service shortly after arrival. (Pic by Franklin Fire Co)

Special thanks to West End Fire & Rescue Company for having an engine transfer to Fayetteville while we have our annual pump testing done on Engine 7-2.

Pump testing is critical to ensure that our 31 year old fire engine can pump at the capacity required. This test usually takes a few hours, and since we have a few more months till our new Seagrave Engine comes in, West End was gracious enough to provide an Engine and crew to cover our first due.
