☀️ GOOOOOOD MORNINGGGG, FAYYYETTEVILLEEEE! ☀️🎉

WE MADE IT.

👏 WE.
👏 MADE.
👏 IT.

It's FRIDAY, and all across FAYYYETTEVILLEEEE you can hear the sound of people suddenly remembering how to smile. 😭😂

The energy is different today.

☕ Coffee tastes better.
🚗 The drive to work feels shorter.
📱 Group chats are already discussing dinner plans at 8:03 AM.
💃 And productivity is hanging on by a thread.

Some of y’all walked into work this morning like:

"Good morning! 😊"

Meanwhile on Monday, you looked like you were being escorted against your will. 💀

That's the power of Friday.

By now, Fayetteville has split into three groups:

🏆 The people who have been productive all week.
😅 The people trying to finish everything they ignored all week.
🤷 And the people hoping nobody notices they ignored everything all week.

Friday doesn't judge. 😂

Meanwhile around town:

🚗 Somebody is counting down to quitting time before they even clock in.
🍔 Somebody is already thinking about lunch.
🏈 Somebody has weekend plans.
🛋️ And somebody's biggest weekend plan is absolutely nothing.

Honestly? ALL are valid. 😭

As you head out today, remember:

🚦 Don't let Friday excitement turn into Friday speeding.
📵 Keep the phone down while driving.
😌 Be patient with each other.
🚗 And please don't start acting like traffic laws are optional because it's the weekend.

The weekend will still be there when you get off work.

Probably. 😂

FAYYYETTEVILLEEEE, thank you for making it through another week of alarms, emails, meetings, responsibilities, unexpected nonsense, and at least 47 moments where you questioned everything.

You've earned this Friday.

Now finish strong, stay safe, and let's roll into the weekend like responsible adults...
..or at least adults who are trying their best. 😭☀️👮‍♂️🎉

HAPPY FRIDAY, FAYYYETTEVILLEEEE! 🎉☕🚗😂

🌙✨ Fayetteville, it’s Thursday night!

You’re so close to Friday you can practically hear the weekend calling your name. But before you clock out mentally, don’t forget your 9 PM safety routine.

🔒 Lock the doors
🚗 Check the vehicles
💡 Turn on outside lights
📦 Bring in any deliveries
🐾 One last walk for the four-legged family members

Think of it like this: if you can double-check that your alarm is set for tomorrow, you can double-check that your doors are locked too. 😆

Take a few minutes tonight to secure your home so you can spend tomorrow focusing on weekend plans instead of "Wait... did I leave my car unlocked?"

Good night, Fayetteville! 🌙💙🚔

☀️ GOOOOOOD MORNINGGGG, FAYYYETTEVILLEEEE ☀️

It’s Wednesday...

Or as we like to call it, the day where nobody knows whether to be proud they made it this far or annoyed there's still more week left. 😭😂

By Wednesday morning, the city is running on a very specific combination of:

☕ caffeine
😵 confusion
💪 determination
and
✨ pure stubbornness ✨

Some of y’all woke up today and immediately checked the calendar like:

📅 "There's no way it's ONLY Wednesday."

Oh, but it is. 😭

Meanwhile, all across FAYYYETTEVILLEEEE:

🚗 Somebody is driving to work rehearsing conversations that will never happen.
☕ Somebody bought coffee they absolutely did not need but absolutely deserved.
📱 Somebody has already checked the weather 14 times hoping it magically changes.
💀 And somebody is staring at their computer waiting for it to tell them what to do next.

Wednesday has a funny way of humbling everybody.

Monday had ambition.
Tuesday had effort.

Wednesday shows up and says:
"Alright... let's see what you're really made of." 😂

As you're heading out this morning, a few reminders:

🚦 The red light isn't going to turn green faster if you stare at it.
🚗 Tailgating won't make the car in front of you disappear.
📵 That text message can wait.
😌 And not every inconvenience requires a dramatic reaction.

Especially before your first cup of coffee. 😭

And let's all remember that by Wednesday, patience is running low citywide.

The cashier is tired.
The parents are tired.
The dog is somehow tired.

Everybody's just doing their best. 😂

So be kind, stay safe, and keep pushing through.

Because tomorrow is Thursday...

And Thursday is basically Friday's warm-up act. 👀☀️

Have a great day, FAYYYETTEVILLEEEE! 👮‍♂️☕😂

🌙🚨 Hey Fayetteville, it’s Tuesday night!

You’ve survived Monday's leftovers and Tuesday's reality check. Now it’s time for the 9 PM routine before you settle in for the night.

🔒 Lock the doors
🚗 Secure your vehicles
💡 Turn on those outside lights
📦 Bring in packages
🐾 Do the final pet patrol

Think of it as adult hide-and-seek... except you're hiding opportunities from criminals. 😆

Take a few minutes now so the only thing keeping you up tonight is wondering why you walked into the kitchen in the first place.

Have a safe night, Fayetteville! 🌙💙🚔

On June 2, 2026, at approximately 3:38 p.m., officers responded to the 5000 block of Murchison Road for reports of a shooting. Detectives from the Fayetteville Police Department's CAPERS Unit assumed the investigation.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the male victim was shot after leaving a business located on the 5000 block of Murchison Road, received non life-threatening wounds, and was treated and released from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. ☀️ GOOOOOOD MORNINGGGG, FAYYYETTEVILLEEEE ☀️

Well... it happened.

The weekend packed its bags, left without saying goodbye, and now it’s Monday again. 😭

Some of y’all woke up this morning and immediately started negotiating:

⏰ "If I close my eyes for 5 more minutes..."
🛏️ "Maybe work forgot I exist..."
📱 "Is it too late to start a new life?"

Unfortunately, the answer was no. 😂

Monday mornings in FAYYYETTEVILLEEEE are always an adventure:

☕ The coffee line is longer than your patience.
🚗 Everybody is either driving like they're late for the biggest meeting of their life...
🐢 ...or like they're out sightseeing on a horse and buggy.

There is no in-between. 😭

And let's not forget the universal Monday struggle:

You spent all weekend saying,
"I've got plenty of time."

Now it's Monday morning and suddenly you're looking for:
🔑 your keys
📱 your phone
🎒 your bag
🧠 and whatever motivation you had on Friday afternoon

As you head out today, remember:

🚦 Red lights still count.
📵 The text can wait.
😌 Give each other a little grace.

Because everybody in Fayetteville is fighting their own Monday battle right now.

Some are running late.
Some forgot what day it is.
And some are still trying to figure out why they volunteered for things last week. 😂

Whatever your Monday looks like, we hope it's safe, productive, and filled with enough caffeine to make good decisions.

Now get out there, FAYYYETTEVILLEEEE...

The week isn't going to start itself. 👮‍♂️☀️😭

Happy Sunday, Fayetteville 🌞If today had a speed limit, it’d be “slow down and relax.” Enjoy your Sunday, y’all 😎
