If this Holly Tree and Well could talk…

I did a lot of growing up and learning a good work ethic here. From helping my Grandmother Nita, as I called her, doing upholstery work to working in the fields with Smith (granddaddy) doing all types of produce crops-taters, maters, peppers, cucumbers, watermelons, cantaloupe, sweet taters- lots of hard work and good times! I’ll bring that same work ethic and pinching pennys to the Mayors office. I want to see our county grow, while still keeping that rural atmosphere feel.
I’d appreciate your Vote and support. You can reach out to me any time with questions.

Thank You,
Fraz

Something else getting ready to come to us

Secondary housing

I feel they should change the stipulation of stick built and allow mobile/modular/tiny homes. The intent is affordability…. And it allows to be removed or sold if you choose

HOA/Subdivision regulations will supersede these also

Thoughts. Anything else to like to add or bring up ?

Remember we already have Zoning

Change the acreage and building sqft balance
1 acre : 1000 sqft
2 acres : 2000 sqft
3 acres : 3000 sqft
4 acres : 4000 sqft
5 acres : 5000 sqft

You still have setbacks

Allow max of 20 employees

Allow to sale retail products related and/or made there

Sound and visual barriers

These kids these days are so smart and great advice !!

Update on the UGB/PGA and Comprehensive plan. Looks like those things will rest on the shoulders of the next group of Commissioners coming in. Also changing the Zoning regulations will also be on their shoukders also. Not sure if it can get out of the committee and work sessions before my current term expires.

I hope I am ELECTED as the new Mayor so I can continue my fight for small businesses and banning these Data Centers !!

I appreciate the support I have !!

Early voting starts July 17th

Let’s hope this stays solid. I know the wording and all loopholes have to be solid. These companies have money and power, just in Georgia the utility companies pulled the “eminent domain” to acquire parcels of land just for the power source!

Data centers and their impact on communities have been widely discussed in counties, cities and towns across the region in the past several weeks.

This something I’m hoping we can get done before the summer is over !! I’m gonna be pushing this through to get it accomplished!!

BREAKING: 🇺🇸 Big Tech got kicked out of the cities. So now they’re heading somewhere with cheaper land, fewer lawyers, and people who trust them.

Your hometown.

According to brand new data from the Pew Research Center, 67% of all planned data centers in America are being built in rural areas — compared to just 13% of existing ones. And 39% of these projects are going into counties that have never had a single data center before. Ever.

These are farming communities. Small towns. Places where people know their neighbors.

And they’re about to be completely transformed — whether they like it or not.

Here’s what nobody tells them upfront:

Power supply costs in the PJM grid region — which powers 65 million Americans — jumped from $2.2 billion to $14.7 billion in a single year, with data centers responsible for nearly two-thirds of that increase. Residential electricity rates nationally rose 32% between 2020 and 2025.

More than 100 local communities have already voted for moratoriums to block data centers. Over 300 state bills were filed in just the first 6 weeks of 2026. And states like Virginia, Georgia, and Oklahoma — who once competed to give these companies the BIGGEST tax breaks — are now reconsidering those deals entirely.

Even members of Congress are sounding the alarm. Congressman Jim Costa said it plainly: “AI data centers are using more energy and water than entire cities — and families in rural America are being left paying the price.”

The promise? Jobs and tax money.

The reality? Critics point out that beyond the massive energy consumption, these facilities actually provide very few permanent local jobs. The construction crews leave. The servers stay. And the electric bills keep climbing.

They need your land. Your water. Your power grid. But they don’t need you.
