CVMA NC 15-1 Outreach

CVMA NC 15-1 Outreach The Mission of the Outreach Program is to aid in the mission of “Veterans helping Veterans”.

In 2020, the North Carolina Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® (CVMA®) Chapter 15-1 envisioned a new Community Outreach Program designed to assist Veterans and Veteran Families in the Sandhills Area. In doing so, we would partner with businesses, non-profits, and other organizations within our community to support our Veterans. Beginning in 2021, NC CVMA® 15-1, The All-American Chapter, began

partnering with local sponsors and identifying potential awardees. The Mission of the Outreach Program is to aid in the mission of “Veterans helping Veterans” in the Sandhills Area, with the goal of assisting a designated Veteran or Veteran family each quarter throughout the calendar year. Sponsorship will help fund and/or donate needed items to this program assisting us in making a difference in Veterans' lives. Our objective is to select a minimum of one Veteran or Veteran family each quarter to aid by way of:
• Monetary Donations
• Payment of Bills/Debts/etc. Directly to debtor.
• Gift Cards
• Material Support (Needed Item(s) for household, family, etc.)
• Manpower or “Sweat Equity” (Completion of repairs/upgrades to property, moving to new property, upkeep of existing property, etc.)
• Any combination of these.

Today was a beautiful day for some of our CVMA NC 15-1 outreach members who were able to help a veteran in need this morning who is coming home next week from the hospital and was overwhelmed with their living situation. They were able to declutter some areas outside and inside the property for them.
