LONG, BUT PLEASE READ. We mentioned our presenting sponsor, The Scott Family yesterday, but that doesn’t do justice to everything this family has given to Chilirhea over the years. Pictured above is Opal Scott. Opal suffered for nearly 14 years with Alzheimer’s, and her family, including her grandson Cory saw firsthand the cruelty this awful disease reaps upon the afflicted and their caregivers. It’s because of this experience that Cory took this gathering of friends and turned it into a party with a purpose. Along with his wife Amber, Cory has been the driving force behind this organization for over a decade now. Our board is forever grateful for their constant sacrifices and willingness to push this event forward through the years. If you see Cory, Amber or any other member of the Scott Family this weekend, please take a moment and thank them for everything they’ve done for this organization and the fight against Alzheimer’s at large.

Announcement! We have had a couple cooking teams notify us that due to unforeseen circumstances, they will be unable to cook this Saturday. That being said, they want to make sure we have enough chili and have agreed to allow proxies to cook in their stead.
