What an unforgettable day at Sara Harp Minter! 🚁🇺🇸

Today, we had some very special visitors join us as the crew of the AH-1F Cobra 826 and UH-1H Huey 624 helicopters spent time with our students and shared about these incredible aircrafts and their service experiences.

Our Mountain Lions loved the opportunity to see the helicopters up close, ask questions, and learn from the amazing crew members who took time to talk with every one of our students. What a hands-on learning experience our students will remember for years to come!

We are so proud of our talented Sara Harp Minter artists! During the month of May, our students’ artwork has been proudly displayed at the Fayette County Board of Education.

Their creativity, hard work, and artistic talents have truly shined, and we are thrilled to see their amazing pieces showcased for our community. A special thank you to our incredible art teacher, Mrs. Fricke, for inspiring and encouraging our young artists each day. 💙

What an incredible way to wrap up our Science Olympiad season! 🔬🦁

Today, our Science Olympiad team celebrated an amazing year with a special after-school celebration made even more fun with the help of the incredible Whitewater High School STEM students!

Our Minter Mountain Lions placed 27th overall out of 64 teams at the State Science Olympiad Competition — an outstanding accomplishment! 🎉

🏅 State Competition Awards:
🥚 4th Place – Egg Drop
🦴 9th Place – No Bones About It
⚖️ 9th Place – Grab a Gram
📊 11th Place – Data Crunchers
🪨 15th Place – Rock Hounds

We are so proud of the hard work, teamwork, and dedication our students showed all season long!

Our Mountain Lions' future is BRIGHT! Students (and adult helpers) had the best time dancing, playing, glowing, and making memories at our PTO-sponsored Glow Dance.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped set up for our Glow Dance yesterday! We truly appreciate you taking time out of your undoubtedly jam-packed schedules during this busy season to help make this event such a success. 💙

A very special thank you goes to the amazing Jamie Owens for the endless hours spent planning and organizing the Glow Dance. It truly was a family affair, as her husband also worked tirelessly to help make today extra special for all our Mountain Lions! 🐾

Our 3rd Grade Mini Society Market Day was a roaring success today! 🛍️✨

After learning about the economic principles of supply and demand, entrepreneurship, and running a business, our students put their knowledge into action by creating and selling their own products at the market. From creative ideas to impressive sales pitches, these young entrepreneurs truly shined today!

We are so proud of each of our students for their hard work, creativity, and dedication throughout this project. What an amazing day of hands-on learning and real-world experience! 💙
