SCAM ALERT

It has been brought to our attention that scammers are calling citizens claiming to be from the sheriffs office. This individual is telling people that they’ve missed jury duty and that a warrant for their arrest has been issued. Please do not make payment to these individuals over the phone. If you have concerns about jury duty, contact the circuit clerks office at 660-248-2194. The sheriffs office will not contact you by phone to let you know that have a warrant, that will be done in person…..
