It has been a while since we posted on traffic issues in town. It seems that the new speed sign coming into town have helped, but some still are in a rush to slow down and take in our nice little town.

Recently citations have been issued for 57MPH in a posted 35 MPH zone in front of the Family Life Center heading into the downtown area, and 45 MPH in a posted 25 MPH zone in front of the hardware store, head towards the traffic light.

The fine amount by Western District Court for 20mph over the speed limit is $200.

The traffic light decided to go on a work stoppage today at 3 pm. The intersection reverts back to a 4 way stop. Stop signs have been put up.

Mayor Borer reported at the F.A.S.T. (Formerly the CDC), that Phase 2 of the water line project would be possibly starting at the end of the week. Watch out for construction vehicles starting in the north end.

This Thursday starting at 6:00 PM Just in time for the weather to get cold again, come join us for a soup supper with grilled cheese sandwich, drinks and cake for a FREE WILL DONATION.
