Big thanks to everyone that was able to help with our Prescribed Burn on Saturday! We successfully burned about 85% of the 13 acres that were replanted in the native pollinator plant mix. Watch for a big bloom later in the season!

The Ecology Lab took advantage of the great weather to gather seeds from the pollinator garden and spread them to other locations in the sanctuary today. They also attacked some of the invasive honeysuckle. This is the perfect time of the year to do that as the native vegetation is dormant and only the invasive plants are still green.

Another successful prescribed burn on Monday 4/7/25. Burned the two annual burn experimental plots. That is the end of burn season for the spring. Things are getting green!
