CFP is focused on passing the referendum in the June special election that will allow alcohol sales within the City of Fayette. It is our strong belief that legalized alcohol sales will be a boost to the economy through increased tax revenue and new business development. A study of about 39,000 alcohol-related traffic accidents in wet compared to dry (prohibition) counties in Kentucky found that a higher proportion of dry counties' residents are involved in such crashes.
