US Vice President Vance has cast a tie-breaking vote in favor of the costly “One Big Beautiful Bill,” a sweeping Trump-backed package. In a shocking move, he dismissed Medicaid cuts affecting nearly 12 million people as mere “minutiae,” while prioritizing a $150 billion increase for ICE enforcement.

📉 Experts warn this legislation could add trillions to the national debt and strip healthcare from vulnerable families, closing rural hospitals and deepening inequity. Critics, both Democrats and some Republicans warn of devastating humanitarian consequences.
