Yesterday mutual aid companies were dispatched to East Hopewell Township to assist Eureka Fire Company with a barn fire.
On scene were 4 apparatus driver's, each with more than 50 years experience serving their communities.

Tanker and Supply 56 are assisting Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company with a working building fire In the 1200 blk of Baldwin Mill rd. The roadway is currently closed, please use an alternative route!

Rescue 56 and Supply 56 both responded to the box assignment.
Prior to this Brush 56 was requested to assist Station 57 on a Field Fire.
Both calls the box was held prior to the arrival of 56 units.

DCVFC and surrounding mutual aid companies were alerted for a reported structure fire in the 1000 block of Atom Road. Chief 57 arrived to a 2 1/2 single family dwelling with nothing evident. Engine 57 w/ 8 personnel arrived and investigated an odor of smoke in the attic after the thunderstorm knocked a tree and primary power lines down. After no conditions were found inside, Chief 57 held the assignment to station 57 units and requested PECO to the scene. The box was placed in service on good intent. Ambulance 95-11 also responded.
