CxC Foundation Since 2014 CxC Foundation's mission has been to celebrate, remember and honor members of the SOF community through the annual Ride for the Fallen.

We raise funds to assist members of the SOF community with medical treatments and practical expenses. In the summer of 2014, while deployed in Northern Iraq, two active duty soldiers, Cris Valley and Jason Buck, dreamed up the Coast x Coast Ride for the Fallen as a way to honor the memory of their friend Ryan Savard. What began as an annual cross-country motorcycle ride to honor a fallen brother i

s now a 501(c)3 charity that raises funds for issues affecting our combat veterans such as TBI and PTSD. Each annual cross-country ride honors Ryan as well as additional honorees from the Special Operations community.

Today is not just about backyard barbecues or the official start of summer. It’s about a debt that can never fully be repaid.

​On Memorial Day, we stop to honor the ultimate sacrifice made by our heroes. But for many of our Special Operations veterans who made it home, the battle didn’t end. The invisible wounds of war continue to take a heavy toll every single day.

​True honoring means action. We don’t just remember their sacrifice; we commit to fighting for their recovery.

​Through our several different partner organizations, we are helping special operations veterans rebuild their brains, reclaim their lives, and find a path forward.

​This Memorial Day, let’s honor the fallen by taking care of the living 🇺🇸
