This year's Fire Prevention Week theme focuses on cooking safety. We will be sharing some important tips to ensure you and your family will stay safe in the kitchen!

A few of us were able to take advantage of the great fall weather today to conduct some rope familiarization training! Although most of our response area is fairly flat, we are excited to be able to train for both high and low angle rescue scenarios. Today was a good chance just to get comfortable on and with the ropes.

We want to thank everyone who came and joined us for fun, food, and visiting! We very much enjoyed seeing you all and hope you enjoyed yourselves as well! We intend to make this an annual event with even more activities and excitement in the years to come. A HUGE thank you to JME Fire and Hoist for joining our festivities as well!

We would like to wish a very Happy EMS Week to our very own emergency medical professionals, as well as those who support us! We take great pride in providing quality, compassionate emergency medical care to the residents of our valley, and those visitors passing through! Your Eden Farson Fire District ambulances are staffed with 8 EMTs and one Paramedic capable of providing advanced live support care! We had hoped to be able to host a community BBQ in honor of EMS week, however we have had to postpone the festivities thanks to COVID-19. Our goal is to reschedule it for later this summer. Be on the lookout for information to come!
