So proud of these two firefighters and their commitment to serve our nation. We pray for a safe deployment and a safe return for them. The department will be honoring them, their fellow enlisted men and women, as well as our veterans, by wearing red uniform t-shirts on Fridays. This follows a trend referred to Remember Everyone Deployed, or RED, where people wear red on Fridays to represent and remind others of those deployed.

FARRELL – Fire Chief Mike Renner wanted to do something to honor two of his firefighters who are being deployed to the Middle East while they are away.

Our crews have been busy since Sunday, thank you to the duty crews and the Public Works Department for removing the snow from the fire hydrants throughout the city. We were able to establish a water supply without delay Wednesday night for the fire we had on Spearman Ave. Great work guys

Clearing around hydrants will help save us valuable time.

Current conditions in the city, white out , advised to stay off the roads
The Public Works Department has 5 trucks on the roads. They are working very diligently to keep main roads open. We urge all residents to stay off the roadways.
