The Farmville Detention Center is now hiring Detention Officers. Job responsibilities include: the supervision of detainees in a detention setting. Benefits include a hiring pay rate of $18.21 per hours, full time insurance (vision, health, dental), retirement match, and a $3,000 hiring bonus!

Located minutes west of historic Farmville and approximately 70 miles southwest of Richmond, Virginia, the Farmville Detention Center (FDC) is a facility designed to house adult immigration detainees.

As contracted by Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) and the Town of Farmville and operated by Immigration Centers of America (ICA), the facility and its staff and contractors are committed to providing a secure environment meeting the health and safety needs of illegal aliens detained while being processed through immigration court.
