Today, on National Peace Officers Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty—protecting and serving our community with unwavering dedication.

We solemnly remember:
👮‍♂️ Prince Edward Sheriff Thomas H. Dickinson — EOW 9/30/1915
👮‍♂️ Game Warden Frank Hatchell Gilliam — EOW 4/28/1929
👮‍♂️ Trooper II Daniel Lee Williams — EOW 12/12/1999
👮‍♂️ Trooper Lucas B. Dowell — EOW 2/4/2019

Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We also extend our deepest respect and remembrance to their families, loved ones, and all who continue to grieve. Today and always, we stand with every law enforcement family whose hero never came home.
