Growth is happening at Boundless Journey Adventure Park! We are excited to announce that Phase II of the Adventure Park is officially underway. To ensure a safe and efficient construction process, residents and visitors are advised that the parking lot located along Comanche Street is being fenced off. This fencing is essential to keep construction zones secure while ensuring that Phase I remains 100% open and accessible for families to enjoy.

Don't let the fences fool you—the park remains open for fun! While construction moves forward, visitors can still utilize the main Parking Lot and the Apache Street Lot alongside the building, both of which remain fully accessible. Additionally, street parking and park access points continue to be available along Comanche Street beyond the fenced staging area.

We appreciate your patience as we build the next chapter of this incredible community space. For updates, site maps, and more information on the project’s progress, please visit:

🚧 Maintenance in Progress at Brookside Park

Our crews are repairing an irrigation mainline beneath the asphalt parking lot near the amphitheater. The park remains open, and all areas are accessible to the public.

Please note that the work area is barricaded and vehicle flow around it is temporarily restricted. We ask everyone to use caution and stay alert around crews while we complete these repairs.

Thank you for your patience as we keep Brookside Park in great shape! 🌳💧

⚠️ River Trail Advisory

Out of an abundance of caution and due to changing river levels, several low-lying areas of the River Trail system are temporarily closed. This includes, but is not limited to:

• All Veterans Memorial Trail
• Trail under Highway 64 (Murray Drive)
• Trail under Broadway Bridge

For your safety, please use caution and stay alert when enjoying other sections of the trail system. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep our community safe and informed. 💙🌊

🚧 Playground Updates Coming to Colinas Del Norte Park

The playground at Colinas Del Norte Park is getting brand-new play structures this fall!

To prepare for installation, Park Operations will begin removing the current playground and surfacing starting the week of October 6th. Temporary fencing will be in place to keep everyone safe while this work is underway.

The playground area will remain closed during demolition and installation, with the contractor’s projected installation date set for October 27.

We appreciate your patience as we invest in this important upgrade. We can’t wait to welcome kids back to enjoy the new play space soon! 💙
