June is Dog Licensing Month in Farmington 🐾

If your dog is over six months old, State of Connecticut law requires that your dog be licensed each year. Current dog licenses are renewed during the month of June through the Town Clerk’s Office.

While you're registering, don’t forget to enter Farmington’s Annual Top Dog Drawing!

One lucky local dog will receive Farmington’s #1 Dog Tag and free registration for the 2026–2027 licensing year. The drawing will be held on Thursday, June 19 at 10:00 AM.

To enter, your dog must be registered in Farmington or under six months old. Simply send or bring a 4x6 photo of your dog to the Town Clerk’s Office by June 8. Please include your dog’s name and the owner’s contact information on the back.
