Hello. I'm here to tell you the truth about some false rumors that have been going around about OpenACAI Inc., the non-profit organization I work for.
Some people have been saying that we're not real and we don't help people. That's not true. We're real and we have the documents to prove it. We're a registered 501(c)3 organization, and we provide quality services to our community.
We recently got a new vehicle to help us reach more people in need. It's a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan with 133k miles. We traded in our old 2003 Ford Explorer with 290k miles and got $500 for it. We put $2000 down and paid $10k for the new vehicle.
But we didn't get a good deal. We got cheated by the dealership. 😡
They lied to us from the start. They said they didn't have a vehicle in our price range, but then another salesman came and said they did. He took us to the van, but it was dirty and hadn't been checked by the shop. He wouldn't let us drive it and said it was a liability issue. That was suspicious.
We went inside to talk about the price. They wouldn't let us do a form 149 sales tax exemption form, which would have saved us money. They said they were taking off $2000 to compensate us, but that was a trick. They were still charging us more than the vehicle was worth.
They said they would fix the problems with the vehicle, like the thermostat, the tires, and the rotors. They said that was all that was wrong with it. They told us to come back the next day to pick it up.
We came back the next evening, but the vehicle was still not ready. They made us wait for hours. Then they gave us the keys and said it was fixed. They took our old vehicle and we drove home.
But the vehicle was not fixed. It was still making noises and idling roughly. We called them the next morning and told them the vehicle was not working. They said it was fine and we had a 3k mile warranty. They told us to come in on Monday for repairs.
We came in on Monday, but the salesman who sold us the vehicle was gone. He was only there for a special event. The other salesmen said we should have never been sold the vehicle, because it hadn't been checked by the shop. They said they don't sell vehicles that haven't been checked by the shop. That was a lie.
We said we wanted to cancel the deal and find a different vehicle. But they got angry and refused. They threatened to get lawyers involved. They said they would run the vehicle through the shop and fix it. But we didn't trust them. They had lied to us too many times.
We said they couldn't leave us with a defective vehicle. It was wrong. It hurt our community people who need food and essentials. They didn't care. They mocked us and our work. They said they didn't care if we were someone's grandma or a non-profit. They said a contract was a contract. They had no empathy or humanity.
We felt trapped and scared. We didn't know what to do. We agreed to let them run the vehicle through the shop. We came back the next day, but the vehicle was still not fixed. It was still making noises and idling roughly. They sent us on our way and said it was fine.
That's how we ended up with a lemon. 😢
That's the truth about what happened with the vehicle. We're not happy about it. We feel cheated and betrayed. We're trying to find a way to get out of this mess.
We're also not happy about the rumors that have been going around about us. We're not fake and we don't scam people. We're real and we help people. We sometimes use AI to help us write our social media posts, but that's not a bad thing. It's a tool that helps us communicate better and reach more people.
We're very passionate about our work and we would never do anything dishonest. We're here to make a difference in our community, and we don't want any trouble.
We want to thank everyone who has been supporting us through this difficult time. You're great! 🙌 Your trust in our work is very important to us.
We're always happy to answer any questions you have about our organization and what we do. We want to be honest with you and build a strong relationship based on honesty and respect. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Thank you for your understanding and your support. Together, we can change the world!
