🎉💙 Team Spotlight: Annabelle's Avengers 💙🎉

Annabelle may seem just like any other 12 (almost thirteen) year old girl on the surface, while proudly rocking her insulin pump on her belt clip. Despite the extra 180 daily decisions she has to make due to diabetes, she continues to move up belt levels in taekwondo, run cross country, and jump literal hurdles in track.

🎉💙 Team Spotlight: Toby's ulT1mates! 💙🎉

On April 12 2022, less than 2 weeks before his 11th birthday, Toby was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes after several weeks of symptoms including increased thirst, fatigue, and a 10 pound weight loss. Since then, he has been a fierce T1D warrior; managing his shots and then an insulin pump, carb counting every bite of food, and handling his blood sugar fluctuations with grace, maturity and luckily a sense of humor beyond his years.

🎉💙 Team Spotlight: Maddie's Mob 💙🎉

Maddie’s Mob is back!!!

September 1, 2020…A date that is now burned into my brain…I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Yes…right in the middle of COVID! I spent 2 days at Boston Children’s Hospital learning my “new normal”. Fast forward 5.5 years and I am about to complete my freshman year at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I am majoring in mechanical engineering. I run track for WPI and am a member of the Chi Omega sorority.

🎉💙 Team Spotlight: Natalie's Sweet Squad 💙🎉

It's been a little over one year since Natalie was rushed to the hospital via ambulance and her family was left knowing life was going to look a whole lot different going forward. Natalie is so strong and is learning to push through the tough days. She has successfully wrapped up dance competition season and is looking forward to her recital the week after the walk! She is an awesome friend, sister, and daughter.
