September 11 is the National Day of Service and Remembrance, honoring the lives lost in 2001 and recognizing the service and sacrifice of first responders, armed forces, and everyone who stepped forward to protect our nation. Let’s make a positive difference right here in our community. Join us Saturday, September 12 at 8:00 a.m. at Rock Church, 272 N Main Street. We’ll be cleaning up the Lagoon Trail. Please join us for the 25th anniversary of 9/11 in honor of the victims and first responders who perished in the tragic events of September 11th, 2001. A solemn Patriot Day ceremony will be conducted by the John W. Sheets American Legion Post 27-Farmington and the Farmington City Fire Department on Friday, September 11th, at 8:00 AM. in front of the Farmington City Fire Department Station #71 (82 N 100 E, Farmington).

As a free people, we must NEVER FORGET that the innocent victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on America did not die in vain.

It is free to the public. We recommend bringing a folding chair.
