At 7:45 p.m. Farmington Officers were requested by Canton PD and Peoria City PD Bomb Squad to standby a residence located at 16 N. West Street due to an investigation Canton PD had with an explosive device found on a traffic stop. The suspect Benjamin F. Lingenfelter gave Canton P.D. permission to search his residence on N. West Street. Peoria Bomb Squad searched the residence and did not find any bomb making material inside the residence. All police units have cleared from the residence.
