Farmingdale Fire Department Rescue Squad Emergency Medical Service provider for the Incorporated Village of Farmingdale. Village of Farmingdale.

The Farmingdale Fire Department Rescue Squad provides both Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support care to the residents of the Inc. The squad is made up of members from both the Water Witch Engine and Hose Co #1 and Hook Ladder and Hose Co #1. Current Rescue Squad Officers (2022-2023)

This afternoon members responded to a fall victim. Upon arrival pt. was found lying in the ground unconscious. Pt. was stabilized and packaged up for transport. During this time aviation was called and a landing site was established for Howitt Middle School. Crews from 927, and 924 established the landing zone. Pt. arrived at middle school and was airlifted to the closest trauma hospital. Pt was in critical condition.

sworn in as Rescue Squad officers for the 2025-2026 year: Captain Aaron Abrahamsen, 1st Gabriella Cordi, 2nd Lieutenant Adam Bruzzese, and Chief Chauffeur Robert Perdue . They look forward to serving the Village of Farmingdale and will continue to improve EMS services for all residents and visitors!
