On Veterans Day, a flagpole, once forgotten about, has been restored and is now proudly displaying the American flag. A ceremony was held Thursday in Riverdale to hoist the flag once again.

Happy Retirement to SSG Leinfelder after 22 years of service. A true hero and leader who always cared for his Soldiers and made sure he was available to them at any time. Almost everyone in the NY Army National Guard has a great story when they hear the name Leinfelder which shows the impact and influence he had. Enjoy retirement, it is very much deserved!
