Union Parish Police Jurors Ben Bridges, Russell Wade, Glenn Hutto, Nathan Pilgreen, and Mike Holley met with area residents at the Ward Five Fire Department to discuss the upcoming replacement tax that will appear on the November 3rd ballot.

This was the second in a series of community meetings being held throughout Union Parish to provide information and answer questions.

Before you vote on November 3rd, get educated. Learn what the replacement tax is, how the funds will be used, and ask questions.

A special thank you to the Ward Five Fire Department for the use of their facilities and for helping make this community meeting possible.

The Union Parish Detention Center is accepting applications for a Bus Driver.

Position Requirements:

* Must have a valid CDL license
* Must be available for night transportation
* Responsible for transporting inmates to House of Raeford

The Union Parish Police Jury would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Senator Stewart Cathey and Representative Chris Turner for their continued support of Union Parish and for their efforts in helping secure much-needed funding for our community.

Through their work and commitment, Union Parish has received funding that will help us move forward with revitalizing the Union Parish Courthouse, a building that has served our citizens for generations and is in need of significant improvements. Their efforts have also helped provide funding for essential landfill equipment, allowing us to continue improving the services we provide to the citizens of Union Parish.

We would also like to thank Union Parish Clerk of Court Dodi Eubanks for her cooperation and willingness to work alongside the Union Parish Police Jury throughout the courthouse improvement process. Projects of this magnitude require communication, teamwork, and a shared commitment to serving the public, and we appreciate her partnership.

When our local and state leaders work together, Union Parish benefits. We are grateful to Senator Cathey, Representative Turner, Clerk of Court Dodi Eubanks, and everyone involved in helping move these important projects forward.

Members of the Union Parish Police Jury will be at the Ward 5 Fire Department to discuss the upcoming vote on the road tax renewal.
This meeting is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Everyone is encouraged to come out, hear what they have to say, learn more about the road tax renewal, and have the opportunity to ask questions and get answers about the upcoming vote.

Members of the Union Parish Police Jury recently met with area veterans at the VFW Hall in Farmerville to discuss the replacement tax that will appear on the November 3, 2026 ballot.

Police Jurors in attendance answered questions from those present and explained how the replacement tax would work, including how the revenue would be used to support the maintenance and improvement of parish roads.

The Police Jury appreciates the opportunity to meet with members of our community, provide information, and answer questions regarding this important issue.

Election Day: November 3, 2026
