This Saturday on Center Street!!!!

Good Evening,
Just a few updates on projects. Next week the Village will be pouring the concrete and installing the final phase of decorative lamps along Center Street. Also beginning the week of Sept. 21 we will be closing Washington street from Center to south Taylor. The water main will be replaced. After the water main has been installed we will be milling resurfacing this same stretch of roadway. Also we will be paving Washington between south elm and Broadway. After that the crews with shift south to chestnut and mill/ repave chestnut. We have also applied for OPWC funding to replace the water main on south Broadway from Washington street south to Dallas and over to elm. We will keep everyone posted through the projects. The Village of Farmersville is hiring a full time Service Technician I.
Position Summary: Must have a good knowledge of, and the necessary skills to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Position requires various types of physical activities, indoor and outdoor.
Position Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge of Public Works maintenance and construction hazards and risks. Skilled operation of heavy equipment. The ability to adapt and improve all aspects related to service skills.
Compensation: upto -$23.00 per hour.
Health insurance, paid sick, vacation and holiday. Contribute to OPERS.

This is a great chance to enjoy a summer night out with friends, family, and neighbors while also supporting the Valley View High School baseball team. Tickets are $15 plus tax, and $7.50 from every ticket sold goes back to the VVHS baseball program.
