On National Texas First Responders Day, we’re taking a moment to recognize the Farmers Branch first responders who answered the call when it mattered most. ❤️

Last November, the Farmers Branch Police Department and the Farmers Branch Fire Department worked together to help save a man experiencing a medical emergency. Months later, those first responders were reunited with him and his grateful family in a heartfelt ceremony celebrating the teamwork and quick actions that made a difference.

Thank you to our Farmers Branch police and fire department for your dedication, courage, and commitment to our community. We’re proud to have you serving Farmers Branch! 👏🚒🚓

Today, we remember. This morning, our first responders observed a moment of silence marking 25 years since the first plane struck the North Tower on September 11, 2001.
We honor the heroes who answered the call in the face of unimaginable danger, and we reflect on a day that forever changed our nation. 🇺🇸

Three brand-new public art pieces have officially been installed on Farmers Branch's west side, adding a fresh burst of color and creativity to our community. "Foxy," a whimsical painted steel sculpture by artist Jeffie Brewer, joins "Multifaceted" by Stephen Lee and "Fall Leaf" by Brandon Taylor, each bringing its own unique story and artistic vision to the trail.

Come take a walk and see how these pieces reflect the creativity and character of our city.
