This…THIS….is what it’s all about. Every single one of you help us do this, and I cannot thank you enough. We have loud, crazy, wonderful, and sometimes dysfunctionally busy open houses, and through it all, you keep showing up. THANK YOU!!!

We have a new foster, Dana, who was on site for her first open house on Tuesday. She happened to pull out her phone to document her experience with us, and we’re so glad she did.

We often hear comments like, “Your job must be so fun, because, well… kitties!” While there are plenty of joyful moments, many people don’t see what happens behind the scenes. We receive calls and emails every single day asking us to take in more animals, many from far outside our coverage area. While we help when we can, it literally breaks my heart every time I have to say, “I’m sorry, but we just don’t have room.” We can only care for so many.

A large percentage of the animals we take in are either extremely ill or injured, but our incredible vet tech, Sarah, works tirelessly to save their lives. It’s heartbreaking when we lose a little one we’ve fought so hard to keep alive, but there are also so many moments of joy watching a frightened , injured or sick cat heal, trust again, and finally find a loving home. That is what it’s all about.

This video offers a glimpse into just some of what goes on behind the scenes at Cats Cradle Shelter. The heartbreak, the hope, and the love that keeps us going every single day. ❤️🐾

Desperate help needed;

We are struggling to find a foster for these two Felv positive boys. Noah and Sparkys current foster is moving out of the area and we need placement by Sunday, June 21st at the very latest.

If you or anyone you know has an empty foster room or do not have other cats and would like to foster these boys, PLEASE text 701-367-1511. We need to place them this week.

UPDATE: foster FOUND 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Foster needed for these seven little cuties. They are approximately 10 weeks old and on medication for an upper respiratory but are looking better already. This will be a shorter term foster as they will be able to be adopted in a couple of weeks. Please text 701-367-1511 if your foster room is open.

IT’S RAINING KITTENS !!!

Bottle Fosters needed:

We have 5 kittens that were just born a couple of days ago coming in and they will need a bottle foster. If you have experience bottle feeding for us, please text Gail at 701-367-1511.

We have a total of four litters coming in so I will post pictures as I get them.
