Running for ND House of Representatives in District 16 is Kevin Johnson.
Kevin Johnson was born in St. Paul and grew up in MN. He graduated high school in Bemidji, MN in 1998 followed by a year of college at Bemidji State University in which he took several philosophy classes. While going through Northwest Tech's Construction Electricity program (2010-2012), Kevin served as the electrical club's president and representative in the student council. In march of 2012 he went to Washington, D.C. with the M.S.C.S.A to talk with our representatives about refraining from raising the interest rates for student loans. After graduating with honors from Northwest Tech in Bemidji, MN he moved to Williston,ND to work as an apprentice electrician. Kevin currently resides in Fargo, ND with his wife Amanda, Daughter 12, Son 9. He is currently working for Caterpillar as a transmission parts inspector.
The financial collapse of 2008 changed the nature of the conversations about our economy and the problems therein. We became more aware of how our monetary system has been abused. We became aware of ways to correct it. While talking with a friend about this he pointed out that the best use of our time would be to run for office. Kevin is running for the opportunity to bring the Libertarian voice to the ND State Legislature and help build the Libertarian party in ND.
