This past weekend, Leonard J. Buck Garden hosted its annual Spring Plant Sale, featuring a wide selection of unique and native perennials, ferns, woody plants, hypertufa planting troughs, and more! 🌱

Visitors had the opportunity to connect with knowledgeable staff, gaining helpful recommendations and care tips for their new plants. In total, 1,020 plants were sold throughout the weekend, providing both novice and experienced gardeners a diverse array of locally sourced plants to add to their home gardens.

Thank you to everyone who supported the sale and joined us in celebrating Earth Week!

We were fortunate to receive these old photographs from the Buck family. We have been going through the original black and white film prints and digitizing them for preservation, eventually putting them on display inside the Visitor's Center. They are a fascinating way to see how the garden has changed over time!

The first photo depicts Leonard Buck on the Right, and the second photo is his right hand man, the landscape architect Mr. Zenon Schreiber
