We would like to take a moment to recognize several of our firefighters for completing the Firefighting 1 training. They have engaged in several weekends of hands on training and classroom hours on top of regular jobs they hold and still responding in the community.

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚨
Goliad County is back under a Burn Ban effective immediately.

Due to current dry conditions and increased wildfire risk, all outdoor burning is prohibited in the unincorporated areas of Goliad County.
This includes:
• Brush piles
• Trash burning
• Campfires
• Any other open flames outdoors
Please help us keep our community safe by following the ban. Violations can result in fines and increase the danger of wildfires.
Burn barrel regulations remain in effect as always.

Stay vigilant and report any suspicious smoke or fires immediately by calling 911.
Thank you for your cooperation!
