There’s a particular Vermont thrill in rounding a bend and finding water so unreal it stops you mid-sentence. Not polished, not curated, just stunning in that slightly wild way we do so well.
Dorset Marble Quarry has that shock factor. The old marble walls rise straight out of the water, and the whole place feels half swimming hole, half old story still hanging around in the stone. Even from the outside, it has that pull.
I love that Vermont has spots like this, where history and summer collide without needing much explanation. It feels rugged, beautiful, and a little bit legendary. 🔗👇🏻
