I think everyone - at least in the Heights - where we were forced into hooking up to Town Sewer, has had it.
Our water bills have quadrupled and we are being charged for all water coming into the house, whether it goes to the wastewater treatment plant or in the ground.
Is it legal or fair to charge people for a service that is not occurring?? Our water for outdoor showers and irrigation goes into the ground and yet we are charged for treating it and given a sewer overcharge for excessive use.
When we asked the Select Board about it, we were told ‘it’s just how we determine the usage and cost for the town’.
Let’s ban together and stop this.
