Helpful tips to prepare for the freezing temps and large prediction of snowfall in our area.

If you live in a trailer or doublewide that has underpinning or vinyl skirting, make sure it is secure around the entire perimeter of your home. The cold air will cause your pipes to freeze.

If you notice that your meter lid is not completely covering your water meter, please reposition it, to help avoid a frozen meter.
If there is water inside the meter box, do not dip it out. This creates an insulation for the meter and serves to protect the equipment inside.
