Dear Friends, I am writing to you on behalf of the Thomas Jefferson High School Crew team. As President of the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology Crew Booster, INC, and Adjutant for American Legion Post 130 am proud to support our dedicated student-athletes who share a passion for rowing. The TJ Crew is a highly competitive rowing program comprising over 80 students, emphasizing the importance of hard work, discipline, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Although crew is a varsity sport, our team does not receive any monetary support from public or school funds. Consequently, the TJ Crew Boosters undertake fundraising efforts annually to support our team and cover expenses, including coaching and equipment costs for boats, oars, and launch motors. Furthermore, our fundraising endeavors enable us to provide need-based scholarships to our student-athletes. Our mission statement is clear: "Our mission is to provide all students, regardless of their economic status, the opportunity to participate in this enriching sport. Rowing teaches discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, and we believe every student should have the chance to experience these benefits." American Legion Post 130 Falls Church VA :

Saturday, February 11th
6:00pm - 10:00pm

The Legion invites you to come in and celebrate Valentine’s Day on Saturday, with LIVE music. Pete Hill will be performing.

Pete is a guitar player and singer who enjoys folk music and other genres

There will be no cover charge.

Tickets for a beautiful Valentine basket are 1 for $1.00 or 6 for $5.00.

We will be serving food.
