Are you part of a non-profit organization who could put a brand-new DONATED conference table to use? The chance to write us a letter telling us why your organization needs this table ends Friday, May 22, 2026.

The Churchill County Mosquito, Vector and Noxious W**d Abatement District is pleased to offer one (1) surplus 10 ft.L x 4 ft.W conference table for donation to a local non‑profit organization. This table is a brand-new, unassembled ”The Hon Company” boat-shaped conference table, still in the original packaging. The District received this table in a shipping error and the manufacturer told us to keep it rather than pay shipping costs. Non‑profits interested in receiving the table should submit a short letter describing their need and intended use. The table is expected to remain in service with the organization and not be acquired with the intention to resell. Proof of non-profit status required.
To be considered as the recipient of the table, please submit letters and proof of status NO LATER THAN Friday, May 22, 2026 to:

It's that time of year! Our field technicians are out in force, checking and treating water sources for mosquito larvae. You can do your part by making sure that there isn't standing water in hidden areas around your house and property.

Below is our list of the 3 D's of mosquito prevention and protection. ANYTHING that can hold water can be a breeding source.

This would be great if you love working outdoors, can handle various terrain and weather conditions, and like working independently. WE'RE HIRING! The Churchill County Mosquito, Vector, and Noxious W**d Abatement District is looking to hire a couple of seasonal entry-level full-time field technicians.
We will be looking to fill at least one full-time, year-round field technician position during this season due to the promotion of one of our field technicians to assistant manager. If asked to become one of our full time employees after a probation period, benefits include employer-paid medical, dental and vision insurance for the employee, enrollment in PERS, annual cost-of-living raises, opportunities for continuing education related to the pest and invasive w**d control fields with reimbursement and increases in pay.
