A closed session will begin at 5:15 p.m. and the open session of the meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. in Room 106 of the FUESD office, located at 321 N Iowa Street. I was in my happy place this week, back with 4th grade classes in Fallbrook Union Elementary School District teaching kids about Ca native plants and hearing about their gardens and favorite outdoor places! Fallbrook Land Conservancy’s Save Our Forest Environmental Education Program connects 4th and 5th graders in FUESD w/ nature & volunteering.

JoAnn Lopez and I had lots of fun teaching kids how to make stamps from everyday objects like apples, potatoes, and paper towel tubes yesterday at the Fallbrook Community Center’s Halloween Festival! Thanks to Suzanne Lundin for helping out!

Adding full time counselors in each of our schools is one of the best things we have been able to do. Our students have been through so much the past few years, but it only takes one caring adult to show them they are not alone.

Today's highlights our outstanding counselors and mental health specialists committed to the wellness of every student. The team recently launched a new Program . The program teaches to "Be Kind, Be Strong, and Be Well."

With the return to regular in-person Board meetings, a public comment must be provided in person. Anyone wishing to address the Board is requested, prior to the meeting, to submit to the clerk of the Board their name and the subject on which they wish to speak.

It has been a joy to watch Sra. Arias grow from an outstanding 1st grade teacher to the promising Principal of Fallbrook STEM Academy. We are fortunate to have a leader like her on and I know she inspires students and staff alike every day, as she inspired me while watching her teach my children and seeing her professional development since.

I have the utmost respect and admiration for teachers, which is why I am super proud to announce that I have been endorsed by the Fallbrook Elementary Teachers Association (FETA)!
